Oops.

I promised my Mom to knit her a slipover. She bought me 4 skeins of Novita 7 veljestä in blue... That means +600g to my stash...

And. As a reward for my matriculation exam reading I bought Novita Nalle Kevät and Novita Karuselli. But only these two!

My Mom bought me a basket to put my yarn to. Yippee! It's beautiful. I'll take a pic of it when I remember. Now I'm too tired :P And I have to go to knit the slipover...

:)

Leftover yarn sock, FO

This is the leftover yarn sock I was talking about. I finished it yesterday, and my sister (and my mitten-stealing Mom) loves them. :)

Pattern: Basic sock
For: My sister M
Needles: 3½ mm
Yarn: Novita 7 veljestä: 3 shades of gray, black, wine red, pink
Consumption: 150 g

And! You may congratulate me: I've now gone under the limit of 17 kg's of yarn! Yippee! 16 945 g at the moment! I'm very proud of myself :D I'll continue doing leftover yarn projects! Now I'm crocheting a hat. I'm using leftover yarn from my leftover yarn sock project... :D

Kettleholder, FO

I made two blocks of the Circles to squares pattern. I made them in reverse colours and crocheted them together and tadah! A kettleholder.

Pattern: Circles to Squares
Hook: 3½
Yarn: Trics Soft, white and light blue
Consumption: 50 g

My sister M wanted a pair of socks. So I took all my 7 veljestä yarn and she chose the ones she liked and I started a toe-up sock. The first one is half way down... No pictures yet, sorry, I'm too lazy right now :P

Jussi-mits, FO

Now my honey has a new pair of warm mittens! :)

For: My Jussi :)
Pattern: Basic mits with a little boost
Needles: 5 mm
Yarn: Ren ny ull from Norway
Consumption: 80 g

Phew

I've been busy today. I wanted to try these "circles to squares"-blocks and they turned out to be easy and fast to crochet. I've made two this far...

And, I finished the first Jussi-mitten. One to go... I'm a little worried, because I'm not sure if I'll have enough yarn. It's from Norway, so... Wish me luck..!

Feather and Fan Scarf, WIP

Finally a pattern that I'll probably finish! I've started 2 projects with Gjestal's Topp Mohair, and this one seems to work!

Jussi-mits

I wanted to make a new pair of mittens for my DH2B but I didn’t want to make them that ordinary. So I knitted those Jussi-diamonds to spice them up a little bit.

I actually started to knit these at Jussi’s place, but I ran out of yarn…

STRESS!

How stressed can a (wo)man be? Matriculation exams are so exhausting! Today I had a listening comprehension test on English and it went quite well... It wasn't that difficult after all.

I can see that I'm stressed because I have started knitting three different socks in two days and I've finished none... :P

KAL!

For once I was on time and noticed a KAL before it was closed...!

Though I'm not quite sure if I have enough time to do this, but I'll download the clues to finish this shawl later. :)

Wow!

Can you imagine, that yesterday was the LAST DAY OF MY UPPER SECONDARY SCHOOL DAYS? What! 2,5 years and FINALLY! Though I do have the matriculation exams (starting tomorrow) and 3 revision exams, but still! Anything new won't be teached!

And. The shrug from Novita is doing quite well. I finished the first sleeve, only one to go! And I started the ribbed collar. Looking good!

I decided not to buy new yarn for a while. I have tons (well, 17 kilos) of yarn, and I just can't get rid of it! (by knitting, I could sell or give them away but I won't). The only problem is that I have quite a little yarn of same color; it makes knitting bigger things (like sweaters) difficult. Could life be any more complicated..?
