And! Remember my Puro-shawl? As soon as I can, I will write down the pattern and publish it here and @Ravelry. :)

Long time no ocean...

Ha, ha, ha. (My husband came up with that)...

So. Here we are. In Tampere. We had a lovely honeymoon in Crete, and right after that I started studying at University of Tampere. I've been busy lately, but, of course, I have had time to knit :) (and buy yarn. A LOT of yarn.)

I've bought 4 skeins of Novita 7 Veljestä, 1 skein of Novita Nalle Aloevera, 2 skeins of Novita Polaris, and 1 skein of Novita Polkka. That makes a total of 1050 g. Oops.

This one's for my Granny.

Pattern: Novita Syksy 2009
Yarn: Puro
For: My Granny
Needles: umm... 4 or 5 mm...
Consumption: 87 g

These I made for me and Jussi. I have a tassel. Jussi doesn't.

Pattern: Improvized
For: Us 2
Needles: 7 (I guess)
Yarn: Novita Teddy
Consumption: 100 g

I've also sewed curtains and pillowcases for our new home. Here they are:

Bedroom:

And little art... :

Now I'm knitting these socks called Saltkråkan (@Ravelry), using Novita 7 Veljestä.

And! I (finally) taught my husbad to KNIT! I'm SOOOOO proud of him :) This is his very first project:

At first it was all tight and straight, but then he got a little too excited and tried to knit faster than he really could.. :D But I'm still very, very proud! I wonder when I'm going to have the first pair of socks knitted by Jussi... ;)

FO! A shrug :)

Remember the Puro yarn I bought? I've just used 200 g:s for it! Well, actually, 4 skeins exactly and 210 g by my scale. This pattern is my own, though the lace is from Novita's new magazine (it was in some pullover's top and in a scarf, if I remember right)
Unfortunately I don't have a camera right now (my father-in-law and mother-in-law borrowed it for their trip to Africa), so no photos for now, sorry :(

Oh no

Yarn, yarn, yarn... I don't know what happened :D I've bought 3 skeins of light pink Novita Rose Mohair, and another 3 skeins of darker pink. I also bought 2 skeins of purple Rose Mohair, 8 skeins of this new fabulous Novita Puro yarn, one skein of Novita Saana and one of Novita Teddy, and 4 skeins of blue Novita Papagena, 2 skeins of yellow and 2 skeins of pink. This means, that my stash has grown by 1600 g! :D

I clearly have no self-control.

Sewed FO :)

This is a sleeping bag I made for my cousins soon-to-be-born baby :)

It looks more like a HANDbag to me when it has no baby in it.. :D

9.10 I had my Novita magazine, and I have already started two projects. No pictures this time, sorry :P

Here I am!

Hi everyone! :)

As some of you knew already, I got married less than 2 weeks ago! June 27th me and Jussi said "tahdon" ("I do") and here we are :) It's amazing how fast time goes. It feels like it's been ages since that day!

We now have a small appartment, and I really do have difficulties to store my yarn properly! The problem is that I'd like to buy more of it every day...

But now, as all school and wedding things are over, I have time to knit more! I bought the latest Moda magazine yesterday, and today I got the latest Novita.. This means: a LOT of beautiful patterns, and no idea where to start! :D

Oh wow

It's been ages since I last wrote anything. The truth is that I haven't got time to knit anything, which is a shame... I had my entrance exames on Monday, and our wedding is just 17 days away! Amazing how fast life can go.

We now have an appartment of our own. I really love it :) I haven't yet brought any of my yarn here, but soon I will :D

Now I just go to work and wait for our wedding day to come. There's still many things to do! 2,5 weeks is such a short time... :)
