KAL!

For once I was on time and noticed a KAL before it was closed...!
Though I'm not quite sure if I have enough time to do this, but I'll download the clues to finish this shawl later. :)
For more information, see Lankakomero. :)

Me and Jussi went to "the big city" today. I actually drove myself! I was terrified, but no one got hurt or anything. :D
First, we got my wedding ring. Oh my gosh. It's more beautiful than I even remembered! Here is a peek:
The first one (down) is my engagement ring, the diamond ring is my wedding ring and the last is Jussi's engagement ring. It's there because when we have our very first baby, we'll buy a ring just like our engagement rings to complete the combination. Perfect! <3
Then, we went to a fabric store. As you remember, I'm going to sew this bed cover. Here's the design:
I bought all the fabrics I need. Tomorrow I must wash them, because they shrink (5-8 %). Then I need to iron them. And finally, I'm able to cut snippets. And on Monday, I sew. A lot. Fun!

I've been thinking a lot. I have dozens of knitting ideas in my head, and I would like to share some of them with you. I just need to realize them first :D I'm not sure if they are going to be published tomorrow or next month, but I'm sure I will, some day. :)
I want to thank you, my readers, for keeping my blog alive. It really warms my heart to see how many of you come to "visit" me :)

I made a picture of what my bed cover SHOULD look like when it's ready. The measurements are 245 cm x 245 cm (or 96.457'' x 96.457''). Click the image to get a bigger view.
Now I have to buy fabric! :P

I have two things to tell.
First, my yarn supplies have arrived. I only have to pick them up at the local post office, and then they're mine! <3 Second thing is that our school arranges one intensive week a year to do a course. This year I managed to get to the handicraft course. I'm going to sew a cover to put on our big bed in future :P I'm going to do it as a patchwork using this block:
I'm using red and different browns for this work. :)

My Kool-Aids, i mean :P
Wow. :D I had my last exam today, so NOW I have enough time to kool my yarn! YUM!

Now I am one of them. One of them, who use Kool Aid to.. well, kool their yarn. Yum! I ordered only 3 colours, Orange, Lemon-Lime and Strawberry. Gosh, I can't wait! I even have some yarn ready to be kooled. They've been wating for it since I bought them.. And FINALLY!
I actually meant to dye my yarn "naturally" using flowers, leaves etc. But, this looks like a LOT easier (and faster) I'm so excited! :D
