Consumption
It was rather interesting to count how much yarn I've consumed this year. The number is 5850 g! I'm very proud of myself :) I wonder if I can make it to 6 kg's before 31.12...

I've finally finished something. I'm having a LITTLE hurry with my Xmas presents...
Pattern: Palmikkosukat by Novita (@Ravelry)
Needles: 3½ mm
Yarn: Novita 7 Veljestä
Consumption: 120 g
I've bought yarn, by the way. Novita Puro was only 2,70€/skein, so I bought. 6 of them. And, I found this nice brown yarn from Lidl (don't know if it's really good, but it was cheap) and I bought it too. 4 skeins 6,99€. That makes a total of 10 skeins à 50 g = 500 g.
And! Today my husband and I are going to Tampereen Kädentaitomessut (handicraft fair), yippee! I hope I won't buy too much yarn... I simply don't seem to have enough time to consume it! And Xmas... I have to knit to OTHERS before I can start to knit to myself again. Phew. It's hard to be a knitter... :D

I bought only 3 skeins! So no panic.
teetee Pallas: I'm making a pair of socks for my Mom :)
Renia Hand-dye Effect: This clearly wants to become a scarf.
Mmm...

Mmm, finally! And for once I'm on time! The first clue was published in 1st October, and I found it the 2nd!
SPOILER ALERT! If you DON'T want to see the Mystery Sock before you have knitted it yourself, DON'T LOOK! ;)
By the way, I bought yarn yesterday. AGAIN. This time I want to knit a hoodie, and I needed to buy 750 g of Novita 7 Veljestä. And another skein of Novita Nalle aloevera + jojoba for this Mystery KAL. :)
Pattern: Mystery Sock '09 (@ravelry)
Needles: 3 mm (fingers crossed that they aren't too big..!)
Yarn: Novita Nalle aloevera + jojoba
Clue 1:

Ha, ha, ha. (My husband came up with that)...
So. Here we are. In Tampere. We had a lovely honeymoon in Crete, and right after that I started studying at University of Tampere. I've been busy lately, but, of course, I have had time to knit :) (and buy yarn. A LOT of yarn.)
I've bought 4 skeins of Novita 7 Veljestä, 1 skein of Novita Nalle Aloevera, 2 skeins of Novita Polaris, and 1 skein of Novita Polkka. That makes a total of 1050 g. Oops.
This one's for my Granny.
Pattern: Novita Syksy 2009
Yarn: Puro
For: My Granny
Needles: umm... 4 or 5 mm...
Consumption: 87 g
These I made for me and Jussi. I have a tassel. Jussi doesn't.
Pattern: Improvized
For: Us 2
Needles: 7 (I guess)
Yarn: Novita Teddy
Consumption: 100 g
I've also sewed curtains and pillowcases for our new home. Here they are:
Livingroom:
Bedroom:
And little art... :
Now I'm knitting these socks called Saltkråkan (@Ravelry), using Novita 7 Veljestä.

And! I (finally) taught my husbad to KNIT! I'm SOOOOO proud of him :) This is his very first project:
At first it was all tight and straight, but then he got a little too excited and tried to knit faster than he really could.. :D But I'm still very, very proud! I wonder when I'm going to have the first pair of socks knitted by Jussi... ;)

Yarn, yarn, yarn... I don't know what happened :D I've bought 3 skeins of light pink Novita Rose Mohair, and another 3 skeins of darker pink. I also bought 2 skeins of purple Rose Mohair, 8 skeins of this new fabulous Novita Puro yarn, one skein of Novita Saana and one of Novita Teddy, and 4 skeins of blue Novita Papagena, 2 skeins of yellow and 2 skeins of pink. This means, that my stash has grown by 1600 g! :D
I clearly have no self-control.

Jussi bought me yarn. Oh boy.
He bought me a skein of Novita Four Seasons Talvi and 4 skeins of dark grey Novita 7 veljestä. I've already made one sock and I've started a slipover for Jussi... :)
71 days until our wedding, by the way! Yesterday we finished our invitations... They look great! :)

Long time no see.. :)
Let's just say: I have the best man in the world. He bought me yarn.. :D I'm going to make him a vest, and he wanted to pick up the right colour himself. :)
I've been knitting a blue slipover for my Mom.. Not much to go! About 95% done.
Then, I can concentrate on my own pattern called April Sleeves... Let's see if I can finish it before May..!

Oops.
I NEEDED Novita Rose Mohair in green (for my own pattern) . AND, I also NEEDED Novita Rose Mohair in light green (for my sis' shirt).
So I bought.
But I don't knit.
Yet.

I promised my Mom to knit her a slipover. She bought me 4 skeins of Novita 7 veljestä in blue... That means +600g to my stash...
And. As a reward for my matriculation exam reading I bought Novita Nalle Kevät and Novita Karuselli. But only these two!
My Mom bought me a basket to put my yarn to. Yippee! It's beautiful. I'll take a pic of it when I remember. Now I'm too tired :P And I have to go to knit the slipover...
:)

I mean, one FO. This is the first FO in 2009, yippee! On Sunday I managed to finish Panache, and I had only a few meters extra yarn..! Lucky me.
I haven't blocked it yet, so no new pics, sorry :(
My Aunt gave me yarn! Not exactly my favourite colour, but... :D
My Sister's got a bday today. For present I actually cut her hair :D And I didn't even ruin her looks :D

Well, as they say, better late than never, so
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY VISITORS!
This Christmas was the last one I spent at home. Of course I'm going to visit my parents every Christmas, but as a guest... I'm not feeling sad yet, but it'll be a big change to live with Jussi all year round instead of living with my parents. After all, I've been living home for almost 19 years already!
My parents still know what's a good xmas present for me :D My Dad actually bought me A SEWING MACHINE! No way! I'm soooo happy :D Till this, I've had to sew with my mother-in-law-to-be's sewing machine, but now..! Happy happy :)
Jussi bought me a book of quilting, and 3 skeins of yarn (as I told you before). He also payed Novita for one year :) He really knows what I like! <3 I didn't manage to knit the Paradoxical Mittens for Christmas, but Jussi said I gave him enough presents anyway :D So I just knit the mittens ready and give them to him when he needs them. Even if there's snow, it's not really cold in here yet...
And, guess what. I just HAD to start a new project (again). I bought 2 skeins of Novita Nalle, brown, and started to knit Panache while staying overnight at Jussi's home :D I'm already done half of it! So, that's about all I had to say this time :) Now we'll wait for new year's eve, then I'll go to Jussi again :)
And guess what... :)
Exactly 6 months! :) <3

My husband-to-be gave me some money and ordered me to go to a local yarn shop and buy what ever yarn I wanted :D And then I had to gave the skeins to him, and I'll get them on Xmas Eve then. Handy :D
So, I chose Gjestal's Topp Mohair, brown. :)

Me and my DH2B went to Kätevä 2008 trade show in Lahti. I didn't buy that much as I first tought I would.
Sock yarn: Gray for Jussi, orange for me.
I'm going to knit and felt mittens for my Sister S from this yarn:
Toffee! One is missing, Jussi took it :P
I also redescribed to Suuri Käsityölehti, because 1) it was super cheap and 2) I got to choose 3 magazines and a book, free!
I also bought glass jewellery, or pearls, for my graduation party. I only have to assemble them:

We also visited my Grandma and she gave me these:
I think this day was a succes :P We ate pizza and I'm so full that I'm ALMOST too full to knit. But only almost.

Today I picked up my new yarn. Oh my gosh. If I just could knit all day long..!
I bought:

I have two things to tell.
First, my yarn supplies have arrived. I only have to pick them up at the local post office, and then they're mine! <3 Second thing is that our school arranges one intensive week a year to do a course. This year I managed to get to the handicraft course. I'm going to sew a cover to put on our big bed in future :P I'm going to do it as a patchwork using this block:
I'm using red and different browns for this work. :)

We (me, my two sisters and my Dad) went to a dog show and I went shopping while my sister was showing our dog. I bought these things shown below.
There is...
